Cleve Thomas is Founder and Principal of Cleverhouse Energy Advisors LLC, an independent firm providing strategic, technical, and commercial advisory services across upstream oil and gas, lithium brine development, and mineral resource projects. With 20+ years of experience, he advises operators, investors, and mineral owners on high-value opportunities across North America and internationally.

Cleve specializes in asset evaluation, drilling and development strategy, capital efficiency, mineral structuring, and commercial negotiations. He has supported conventional and unconventional oil and gas projects across major U.S. basins and played a key role in advancing lithium brine development within Arkansas’ Smackover Formation—bridging traditional upstream energy with emerging critical mineral supply chains.

Through Cleverhouse, Cleve partners with operators, private equity groups, and international stakeholders to enhance project economics, align interests, and accelerate responsible resource development. He is recognized for delivering technically rigorous, commercially disciplined guidance from early-stage evaluation through execution.

Jacob K. Thomas, P.E., MBA serves as Principal Engineer with 13+ years of experience in petroleum engineering and business development across major U.S. basins. A licensed Professional Engineer in Oklahoma, he earned an MBA in Energy and Finance and graduated Summa Cum Laude in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.

Jake has led development and optimization efforts in the Powder River, Bakken, Permian, Midcontinent, and East Texas basins. He has driven basin entry strategy, managed multi-year completion programs, and transitioned assets from delineation to full-scale development while improving cost, efficiency, and well performance. He has also supported mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and technology partnerships, including emissions monitoring initiatives.

With expertise in fracture modeling, rate transient analysis, artificial lift, and data analytics, Jake consistently delivers operational efficiency, cost savings, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth.
